Fleischer Promo Art #7: “Popeye Power!”

This next installment of 1935 Paramount Sales News cartoons features some nice “color” renderings of Popeye and Betty. There’s one of those beautiful cartoony horses that Mike Barrier despises in March 27th’s cartoon, and we get a whole crowd of people in their underwear as part of “The Short Parade” on April 10th. It’s a pity Betty would “take care of your box-office” (as she says on April 24th) because by this point in her career, she was best “taking care” of patrons by putting them to sleep!
