I feel like this cartoon is easy to define as “Budget Fleischer”, and there are elements that are very similar to Fleischer shorts like Swing You Sinners.
This print of A Swiss Trick is 35mm nitrate. We’ve left it tinted as the original print was. Note that the film is in ‘Movietone’ aspect ratio, where the picture is now taller to accommodate the soundtrack.
I’ve always loved the score to Gay Gaucho, a Van Beuren Cubby Bear cartoon animated by the Harman/Ising studio. And here’s my HD version.

The “Fleischer Rarities” Blu-ray is done and I’m shipping it to customers now. And a progress report on a Van Beuren rarity: “Bird Scouts”.
