Welcome to my UNIVERSAL-WALTER LANTZ Original Titles page.

\nThe original Walter Lantz cartoons have been off U.S. television for years – and their only presence is on DVD: Universal Home Video’s THE WOODY WOODPECKER AND FRIENDS CLASSIC CARTOON COLLECTION. I urge you to buy these two volumes.<\/p>\n

1930s MAIN TITLES<\/strong>: Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and miscellaneous Cartunes.<\/p>\n\"lantz_oswald\"\n

1940s MAIN TITLES<\/strong>: Lantz did not have consistent title cards. Which was great – because each picture was its own delightful event. On ocassion they would stick to a standard opening, but they changed formats often, and they were as varied as his cartoon managerie. 1950s MAIN TITLES<\/strong>: Lantz got a little more standard in the fifties.
