Was this ever released in America? Demon Hunter Makaryūdo does indeed exist and it turns out to be horribly made, with too little animation – much of it consisting of slow pans over held cels.
California Crisis was immediately forgettable. It was produced by Studio Unicorn, a tiny anime studio that almost immediately went out of business.
Battle Angel was one of the higher-class “forgotten” OAVs. Based on a popular manga by Yukito Kishiro, James Cameron currently has the rights for a live-action remake.
Dragon Century was a strange pair of OAV’s. They were very cheaply produced with extremely limited animation – but there were several things that I liked about them.

A blatant rip-off of Alien – It was horribly produced, with horrible art design and a horrible story that makes no sense. Nobody (that I’ve found) has a good thing to say about it.
